George Town, a UNESCO world heritage site, was really interesting. We met lots of friendly people and also enjoyed great food.
On our walk through town, we saw many of these 3-D murals.




Malaysians are very religious. We saw many temples, mosques, and churches. It was interesting being in a mostly Muslim country during Ramadan.


Small shrines like this are all over the place. They have offerings of flowers, fruit, and burning incense inside.

We did a food tour and tried lots of new great foods. Below are pictures of some of the yummy items we ate.

On Day 2 we visited Penang Hill and the temple. We said Hello to Happy Buddha and will now have happiness for the rest of our lives.
