Maputo was a bustling city. We did a walking tour. During the tour, we visited the iconic train station, a local market, the Fort of Maputo, and a local restaurant for the Portuguese favorite pastel de nata.
There is a great deal of unemployment in Maputo. There were people selling items in the streets as well as washing parked cars hoping for payment when the drivers returned. As usual the people were all very kind and welcomed us.
