Today we visited the Tala Game Reserve outside of Durban. We got really close to so many beautiful animals. It was a beautiful day that wasn’t so hot! We’re really thankful for our (temporary) distance from the equator.

We were greeted by a dazzle of friendly zebras.

Can you see the baby hiding behind its mama?

Rare white rhinos hanging out with the zebras, ostriches, and impalas.

Curious little impalas

This beautiful giraffe came right out onto the road to say Hello!

These are female kudus. The kudu is the third largest antelope in Africa.

This handsome fellow is their “boyfriend”…according to our guide.

Serious looking Blue wildebeest

We have one more safari while we’re still in Africa. They have all been amazing experiences.
