Cruisin Marys

Who knew crossing the equator was such a big deal?!?! There is an amazing ceremony for those who have not previously crossed the equator to transition from polliwogs to shellbacks. It involves proclamations and chants followed by the ship officers jumping into the pool in their uniforms. Then passengers who choose to participate must pay homage to the fish, jump in the pool, and then take a shot of Aquavit. Mary & Kevin did amazing jobs representing us. Mary did so well, someone took a series of pictures and posted them to FaceBook.
