We were glad to make it to Phuket, so we could put an end to Kevin mispronouncing it! We visited Phuket’s largest and most sacred temple which was enormous. They shot off firecrackers to ward off evil spirits. It startled us every time they went off.

Next, we visited a cashew factory. The cashews grow at the bottom of the yellow fruits. They remove the cashews from their outer covering by hand.

Massage places were everywhere. Didn’t get a picture but some had “No Smoking, No Vaping, No Sex” signs outside. Also lots of Gummies and Weed stores as well as 7-11s.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch. Tom Yum Seafood soup, Chicken Satay, Chicken Pad Thai, Beef Fried Rice, 3 sodas, and fresh fruit for $18 US. Things are exceptionally cheap in Thailand.

We loved Phuket. The only drawback was the weather. It was approx. 100 degrees and extremely humid. Next up…Sri Lanka.
